The Golf Swing

Great ball striking comes from learning the essential elements of the golf swing and being able to effortlessly repeat the golf swing over and over in a variety of situations.

Setup / Alignment
Learning the correct golf setup and alignment is the most important thing a student must learn before ever expecting to hit straight, long and consistent golf shots.

Backswing
Get the swing started right by executing well timed, on-plane and in-sync moves away from the ball.

Downswing
The downswing should be an effortless move into the ball to launch it upon its flight path.

Tempo
Develop a consistent tempo for a consistent golf swing.

Increase Distance
Distance is a result of clean ball contact and club head speed.

Distance Control
Controlling distance is often a matter of club selection. Learn how far you hit each club. Learn when to take more club or less depending on factors such as wind speed.
  • Club Selection
  • Wind Speed and Direction
  • Bad lies and Slopes
